When Doctor Who serials The Web Of Fear and The Enemy Of The World surfaced after being lost for decades, the fan community couldn’t have been more thrilled – but rumours being what they are, many had believed that many more stories were to surface. In issue 396 of Starburst Magazine, J.R Southall detailed the story of the find, along with an extrapolation of the rumours that grew in stature prior to the found episodes’ release.

I completed this illustration almost entirely on computer using a Wacom tablet and appropriate software. These were early days as I got used to the brushes in the program that I was using, but at this stage, I personally could tell that the finished result lacked a certain subtlety in the line-work. Working completely electronically did, however, increase the speed with which I could produce full colour artwork.
