In issue 439 of Starburst Magazine, J.R.Southall discussed many of the format options available to show runners at the helm of Doctor Who in his column, Watching Doctor Who.

When J.R offered the idea of a Dalek trapped inside a dodecahedron (This, friends, is how his mind works) I obviously wanted to make sure that all angles would be technically accurate. Therefore I created said construction in 3D modelling software and placed a camera at its centre just so that I could see what a dodecahedron looked like from the inside!
