In issue 390 of Starburst Magazine, J.R. Southall’s Watching Doctor Who column focussed upon aspects of Steven Moffat’s storytelling approach.

As part of the article, J.R. detailed how Moffat adapted a story from the 2006 Doctor Who Annual into the award-winning episode Blink. J.R. suggested I create an image of either the Doctor or Clara reading said annual – which then reminded me of the scene in which Clara takes a quick look at the History Of The Time War book that she finds whilst exploring the Doctor’s TARDIS; to which she exclaims, “So THAT’S who you are!” – which I transposed quite nicely over to her reading of the annual, to which she could be referring to Steven Moffat.
